Greeting Cookie, 2026

To celebrate the Year of the Fire Horse (2026), I created a New Year's greeting that comes as a cookie — one that disappears the moment it's eaten. I wanted the greeting to carry a physical quality that lives briefly, then vanishes on the tongue. Imagining a wild horse running free across untamed fields, I hand-drew the cookie shapes — unshod hooves, flame-like manes blowing in the wind, and the soft trace of a cat's paw left behind each design crafted to feel both tender and alive. Baked from a 100% natural flour base, the cookies were finished with a custom "2026" lettering, designed and embossed across both the cookies and their packaging. A small romance to open the new year — and a warm way to begin.
